hi, i'm new to the forum, have been reading as a guest, its good to know your not the only one going through so many complicated emotions, i'm not in a position to give any advice on how to get out of the borg as i'm not out yet due to 3 generations of family all whom are still devoted and having a hard time weighing up all the possiblities/outcomes of trying to get free, but at least my hubby of 19 years and i are on the same journey and have made sure that our kids are slowly reprogrammed to normal life.
having read all the ray franz, carl johnson books and gone through emotions of shock, anger and disbelief at the mind control we have been under when i always regarded myself as a fairly intelligent person, but when ordering a book on line about jehovahs witnesses and the problem of mental illness and getting a free book thrown in with it, titled jehovahs witnesses and the hour of darkness, with undeniable proof of the societys subliminal images in their supposedly beautiful drawings, wow what a shock to get out bookstudy books and see them everywhere, our kids can actually find them quicker than us, what more proof is their of dangerous mind control, for every meeting we still attend and most publications i look at, there they are, has anyone else read this book?

is it true what we're hearing?
it's been reported to us that two elders burst in to a sda church service about a month ago seeking to trap a witness man there.
the man, a witness for 14 years, had become disillusioned with the affairs of the wts in australia after viewing the "sunday" program on channel nine which exposed the cover-up of paedophilia in the witness movement.

i wanted to let you know that i told my mother i had found some information on the internet regarding jw,s.
i was then subjected to 2 odd hours on the phone about why apostates are so wrong and how these people are typist's for satan.
she put her husband on the phone too who went on a lot too....basically they wore me down and i ended the weakest again!

You will get stronger. I had the same problem years ago when I first left. My Grandmother was relentless in trying to get me to come back to Jehovah. I never left him, I left them. She would get to preaching on and on until I would say "GRAN" she knew then I had had enough and would stop.
You can't stop them from preaching to you but really you don't have to pay for the torture. HANG UP. If you don't want to be rude get something that makes a weird noise like static or buzzing, keep saying "Are you there? Are you there? I can't hear you!" Then hang up. If they call back atleast they are paying for it. You may not think it but everytime they do this you are putting a few more bricks on the wall of protection against them and their bullying.
If you write to your mom, her husband will probably read the letter. He will feel that he needs to protect her.

for some reason ... i had forget about piano for almost (i though less than that) but actually now almost 7 years (since tony got sick) ... and after a conversation with a friend on the net i decided to plug my synthesizer to see if i could remember by heart what i've learned by heart ... it went out way, way, way better than i thought, but i some parts are just a bit hard to come back, so i wonder if anyone of you have at least those scores ?

I was hoping someone would have answered your post. I'm interested in one also. I have been looking at one from LOWES. It is about 350.00. It would fit nicely in a trailer. It has a mantle that comes in oak or white. I think it runs off regular electric on its own circuet (sp?) maybe. I didn't get to see it on at the store though so I don't know if it looks very natural. We just moved and now I have no place to hang Christmas stockings.

as some of you are aware, it is hunting season right now where live.the hunters have pushed (ran the deer out of the bush's) every bush that there has to be had around here.in other word's ( for those who are not sure of what i mean) they walk all the bushes and woods to get the deer to come out to hunt and kill them.
killing the deer i have no problem with.
it's when the deer almost kill me and my family i begin to have a problem.. last night at about 11.00pm i was taking home my son's girlfriend home.

A friend should enrich your life, not make your life harder or hurt you. You should enrich a friends life, not make their life harder or hurt them. Does that help?

If a friend tells you something personal about themselves and says don't tell anyone, I think you have an obligation not to tell ANYONE.
If a friend said they killed someone and wanted me to help get rid of the body, I'm afraid my obligation is with the police, not the friend. Who wants friends that kill people.
You are not obligated to lend a friend money but it is nice if you can to help out, just expect it to be a gift. Much easier to borrow then to pay back. Who wants friends that will take your money and not pay back.
You are obligated to yourself first then to a friend, if you can live with it.......go for it.
